Contact Our Team for Dining Inquiries
Whether you've got a question about a review, a pitch for our editors, or an idea for working together, here's how to reach the people behind Northside Restaurant.
Get in Touch
The fastest way to reach us is by email. We read everything that lands in our inbox, and we try to reply within around three business days. Sometimes it takes a little longer when our editors are out covering openings or sitting through long tasting menus, but a real person always responds.
For general questions, feedback on something you read, or a tip about a restaurant we should know about, write to [email protected]. Tell us what's on your mind. If you're flagging a factual error in a piece, include the URL — it speeds things up considerably.
Readers sometimes ask whether we accept story suggestions from outside the team. We do. A short paragraph explaining the angle is more useful than a long pitch, and we'll follow up if it fits what we're working on.
Before you write: If your question is about our editorial standards, sourcing, or how we choose what to cover, you'll likely find the answer on our About page. It saves you a step.
What We Handle
Not every message needs to go to the same inbox. Sorting your inquiry up front means it reaches the right editor faster, and you get a more useful reply.
Reader Questions
Feedback on articles, follow-up questions after reading a guide, or suggestions for topics you want us to cover next. These go to our general inbox and are routed to the editor who handled the piece.
Corrections and Updates
If a restaurant has closed, moved, or changed its menu significantly since we wrote about it, let us know. We update pieces when the information shifts in ways that matter to diners.
Restaurant Outreach
Chefs and owners can reach out about openings, menu changes, or events. We can't promise coverage, but we read every note and keep a working list of places we want to visit.
One thing we don't do: paid placements or sponsored reviews. If your question is about advertising our content as endorsement, the answer is no — and it's faster for both of us if you know that going in.
Media and Collaboration Requests
Journalists, producers, and editors working on food-related stories are welcome to get in touch. We've contributed quotes and background to other outlets on topics ranging from neighborhood dining trends to the economics of small kitchens, and we're happy to talk when the timing works.
For Press
Send media inquiries to [email protected] with your deadline in the subject line. Include the publication, the angle you're working on, and what you need from us — a quote, a referral, or background context. Tight deadlines get priority, but a day's notice is always appreciated.
For Partnerships
We collaborate selectively. Past projects have included guest essays from chefs, joint guides with local food organizations, and occasional event coverage with cultural institutions. What ties them together is editorial fit: the partnership has to make sense for our readers, not just our calendar.
If you've got an idea, send a short note to [email protected] outlining what you're proposing and why you think it suits us. We respond to every serious pitch, even when the answer is no.
